hello guys , please give me your advice i am buying this laptop tomorrow from a seller who s i found on the internet (i am in canada) so please give me your opinin about it, actually i am buying it for internet and some games:

(the laptop is brand new in the box)


compaq CQ60-404CA

3gb ram
250 gb hard disk
processor: dual core Athlon X2 QL-64 d’AMD,
built in camera
windows vista (family edition)
graphics: GeForce 8200M -Nvidia
price:375$

it can't get any cheaper. LOOL. try to update to win7 in some way, vista will rape your processor.

you processor is good as long as you are not running heavy apps. but certainly this computer will somehow suffer under vista. try to update it to win7. (even if you have to buy windows 7, it will be a cheap package)

ok , i am guna send it to lebanon in both case and they ll do the job there i guess
here the wondows7 cost 150

btw do u have any idea if the windows vista cd should be in the package >? because the seller is telling me there is no cd

make sure u get the drivers cd, in most cases the OS and the drivers are in one dvd.

There is a partition drive (D) where the windows and factory settings and drivers backups are available there
