The Word " DJ " !!
 

A DJ is someone who can PRODUCE music, not just by beat-matching two tracks, but by adding his own music/sounds/whatever to a track, or by creating tracks from scratch.
what bothers me about DJs is the fact that anyone who has a music archive calls himself DJ, while he isn't.

A Dj makes music to make u sick of fake music, gay music.
A Dj must have TASTE in music and not just archive (as Kingroudy said)
A Dj does not brag about himself being number one, because no one remains on the same spot
A Dj does not download other Djs remixes in order to edit them and tells everyone else that its him who did it ----> DO NOT STEAL
A Dj is someone who introduces you to a total new style or a mix of many styles in a professional way
A Dj does not put the same CD u have in the car. Instead, he makes new music and makes u wonder what the title of the song is, who sings it, is it the orginal version or is it remixed? etc...

well i've seen a lot of dj's, who simply play pop traks thru the whole nite.... nd they call themselves djs.... all wat they've done is playen traks after each other with a bit of mix..... wtf!!!! dj i would respect r the ones mixin diff type of music..... julia botros vs tupac.... or dabke' vs trance.... maybe fairuz vs armin van bauren...... have any1 seen mixed elissa nd tupac.... i luv it or ragheb alama nd some american rapper, song called sahran i luv it...........

why dont u try it if it is that easy? yalla I would love to see DJ Systamatics in action :D

You can get any software that does this stuff, experiment a bit with different combinations and there you go. Next thing you know, u r performing with thousands of 18-26 old ecstasy-munchers in the audience jumping around while feeling that they are licking the lights of the pearly gates. DJs, I mean ecstasy, make everything sound good..

the origin of DJ is the Word " Disk Jockey" in the earlier 60's they used to use the play with the Big disk on the turn table,
and with time the disk jockey became "DJ"

you guys went off topic, a DJ doesn't necessarily make electro music. some DJs might do just arabic music for example.
and if someone is on Ecstasy, it is not the DJ's problem, and if software can help, why not? don't u use software at work?
third of all, a DJ performs live without software.
if you just can't dance, don't blame the DJ/Music/other people on ecstacy:P
