Internet Explorer help!

Hello everyone,

I really need ur help! I mostly use Firefox to access the internet and not IE. I'm facing a really irritating problem. Ads keeps on popping up every 5 mints from IE I don't know where they come from but really this is starting to bother me! Any clue how can I stop these ads from popping up again?
Please don’t say it’s a virus! lol

turn on your pop-up blocker,
tools --> Internet Options --> Privacy.

My pop-up blocker is on and still ads keeps on popping up! it's so bothering me!

Click the Tools button then internet options and privacy, turn on your pop-up blocker, and then click Settings.
erase all the exceptions and under notifications and Filter level, select High: Block all pop-ups, and then click Close.

still poping up????!!! ufffff... it's a virus
