Actually a sexual relationship is one of many manifestations of love and in my opinion it is one of the most intense ways to show your love to other people.

But as i always say ,and I'm waiting for Mr. J rebuttal, one should take into consideration the society and the environment one lives in and the look of the other person towards this issue.

In my opinion it is a matter of being ready to take this decisive step but I also think that sex in the first stages of love can be destructive to the relationship.

Sex is one of the advanced stages in a love path, first the couple have to love each others for the simple non physical stuff, then the morals and all the rest, and late comes the Sexual relationship between then.

So, you ask if "Sex or Love?" or "Sex and Love?", I simply say that at the beginning, it's either Sex or Love, but later on, it has to turn into Love and Sex.

And keep in mind, if someone truly loves his/her partner, he/she would be willing to wait for sex until after marriage. So love doesn't stop if sex was not made before marriage.

In addition, as I said sex is one of the advanced stages in a love path, usually when people advance with their love, their love is strengthened up by each stage, and sex could be one of the very critical factors to boosting their love.

Oh and btw, sex could lead to breakups and heartbreaks :p partners might not like sex with each others, and sometimes it's late because they didn't make it before marriage lool just kidding :p

I would like to add sth to what systa said or actually wrote, sex without love is some kind of prostitution in my opinion

i say that sex shouldn't be the start of a relation, neither the end of it lool, but somewhere in the middle, so love and then giggity!!

I don't believe in love as a permanent state. that is the main difference between us. sex adds more responsibility and commitement to the relationship, it makes breakups more awkward and messy...

What's the big fuss about sex?

I don't mean to underestimate of its importance, but people tend to give it too much importance.

A relationship that is based on sex is a sexual relationship, a relationship that doesn't include sex isn't a complete relationship whether married or not.

It's also okay if the couple is fine with either outcomes, it's their lives and decisions after all; of course after knowing that sex isn't the privilege of life but a normal human need just like food, water, fun...
