Jumblat's Dream and Lebanon's Nightmare
 

Dont under estimate Jumblat's dreams and schemes. Well no one can deny that he has this dream, and he actually tried to accomplish it during the war after his father failed to take over the presidency from the Maronites.
Could he do it, yes of course, logistically it is not that hard. I mean who is going to stop him? The Lebanese Army, I guess not. Just block some roads, put on some snipers, and there he goes. A Druze state !! (it is not that simple, but it is possible).
What Jumblat was asking for in USA, was the support for such a state. The area Junblat controls does not have essentials for being independent: No Port, No Airport, etc.... Junblat was probably begging for such a support and ofcourse, the price for this support is The resistance arms.
By the way, Charel Ayyou mentioned a lot of such a Scenario in the past months...and if you have followed his paper..he usually predicts right. His predicitions have rarely failed in the recent months
