morals

This is slightly going to involve religion, but it is not gonna be a heated argument (I personally got bored :p ) but this topic interests me, here are the set of questions I am interested in getting answers to (from you)

1) do you believe that a person needs to believe in God to be a good person?

2)do you believe that it is wise to be moral? religion aside, the world is a cruel place, most of the time, you help people, but no one is there to help you, do you believe it is still worth it?

3)do you follow all the morals of your religion? are there certain things that you consider to be illogical or choose not to follow?

4) are there any special beliefs that you have? certain "nice" (altruistic) things you like to do although you are not expected (neither by religion nor by individuals) to do?

5)have you ever read a quote or learned something from someone(outside your religious context) that deeply inspired you to adopt a new good habit?

when I say morals, I don't mean not steal and not kill(the big things) I mean the little things, you don't need a medal for not killing, morals as in, do not litter, do not swear, respect women, respect older people

"I'm such a good lover because I practice a lot on my own."
Woody Allen

There's a thing, one of those ones I can never understand: how some one can be more or less religious?
religious norms are mostly set by God or his men. So if you decide not to follow one or more of them (norms), in my opinion, it's like from you to tell that you are greater then God/his men. I guess no religion will approve it.
