Microsoft Access tiny project[Item Sales]
Hey guys, I'm working on a small Microsoft Access project. It's something for personal use. But I thought
Anyways, the database should include the following: - Customers details - Item details - Item categories - Item quantities in stock - Selling invoices - Printable receipts Well the idea is that with every Selling invoice, the stocks change and all that. The idea is simple. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance for any help :D |
ever used rational rose???

new , business asset managment or somethin like that which will lead you to download a template from the internet . this would help alot.

@ibllise I'm just gonna stick to Microsoft Access.
@systamatics I know about the templates, but I thought if someone already has a similar database put together it would be easier, especially that I'm a Microsoft Access newbie. |

Rational rose , is the software were you implement your database and design it properly with everything required .. You all have to do is to fill in tables you want, with the records u want and link the tables together.. after doing so and checking that it is perfectly linked and nothing is missing..you can import it to Access ,and thus you will find it all linked.. all you have to do is create the Forms and queries which the End user will be using.. the best way to design a database is by drawing it 1st .. Rational rose is easy and not that complicated. you just have to know the basics of Databasing. |
Man, same thing goes for Microsoft Access :p
|
no no ur not getting it..
before u start making forms and queries, u need to set the tables properly and link them properly..it could be done on access .. Access is build on something called Methodology or Merise(in french) UML in other terms Trust me man, to build an effective database with the minimum requirements ,1st draw it on rational rose.. Download it or buy it.... |
