From two months ago and we listen to Mohamad Iskandar's song "Jomhouriyet Albe", accompanied with debates and demonstrations of the society protesting against its lyrics.

And now, few days ago, we start listening to a new song for May Matar, in which she replied to Iskandar's song.

Mohamad Iskandar.. his song seems more logical to me :p

I'm with May Matar song. And definitely absolutely totally against Mohamad Skandar song. We are in the third millennium and I think that there is no man that still thinks this way, and there is no reason or argument that should keep the women away from working or getting a job.

Anyway I think that there is no girl that will accept to stay at home to be a statue or a cook because she is a girl. No one has written a rule that the woman should stay at home. I think Mohamad skandar song's totally illogical :think:

But reading both lyrics, I kinda support May's response! She's saying the truth

disagree, u see he never said that a woman should stay at home and cook and he never addressed the entire women society, he only addressed his gf or his wife or wtv he is dealing with :p

for some reason some women here in Lebanon took it personal while I am 100% sure that he wasn't addressing the society, when he said " na7na ma 3anna banat tetwazaf bi shhadetha" ma azdo na7na ka moujtama3 yemken azdo na7na ka 3ayleh ( beit skandar :p)
