Peaceful Program

Since you have not specified the nature of this program, I assumed it is for peaceful use as they always insist.
Well, whether I like or dislike Iran, it is quite obvious that having two competing poles in the region is much better than unilateral dominance of one. A peaceful nuclear program will strengthen Iran's economy, and economy nowadays, is the key issue in sovergnity and strength. With a new balance established, the US and its allies will have to resist their lust for blood and stop instigating wars every now and then.

Peaceful, Ofcourse....

xcoder 03-11-2006 08:32 AM

if it's peaceful program of course yes. everyone has the right to own this technology and iran is not an exeption. but i am totally against nuclear weapons.

Well, after that Ahmadi Najat become the president of Iran, i think that it was a big mistake, he is not developping the nuclear stuff, especially when we see that the Iranian people is suffering and hungry, while the money are paid on weapons instead of food and nutritions.

You are totally wrong, Irans Nuclear Program is solely devoted to peaceful uses. Actually, a peaceful program is much threatening and hurting to USA and its middle eastern ally Israel than nuclear bombs.
If Iran finishes this program, they would have a boosting economy. Nuclear energy is much more cheaper on the long run than any other kind of energy. This will lead to low cost production, and hence, the iranian products will profit more. Imagine what would happen if all Iranian industries cuts half of the cost!! It is as if they are selling twice their products. In addition to that, they will not rely on fuel and will be able to export it more.
USA does not care whether Iran owns nuclear weapons or not, actually what threatens USA and Israel, is the uprisal of a new economic giant (after China). This would definitely hurt USA a lot in its seek towards globaliization.

Does anyone tell you that i am with the nuclear program in the US? Or am I so attached to Israel?

But the fact that i am talking about the risks that has been formed since the election of Najad.

God Forbidds, I never meant to insinuate that. And I strongly appologize publicly if this is what you got from my reply
You said that Nuclear program is wrong because the Iranian are starving and they need not waste their money on nuclear weapons.

I wanted to clarify that, unlike what USA and Israel claim, Iran is of no need of nuclear weapons! A peaceful program is much helpful to Iran at this stage. US and Israel know quite well that a peaceful program would strengthen the Iranian economy at hence, Iran will be completely independent....because as we know, independance nowadays is basically economical. An independent state is the one which does not need others, a strong state is the one which others need it.
This is regarding your use to the word "weapons". As for the other phrase I think was wrong "suffering and hungry", AGAIn, for the same reasons I mentioned, this program is probably their first step in solving their problems

For these reasons, US is trying to spread fears all over the middle east, claiming that this program is not peaceful.

Iran's nuclear program is probably their greatest acheivements, wish we had some!!

Patriotic 03-15-2006 09:47 AM

I don't think that this is an economical issue, since the president is so extremist, i'm affraid that he will lead his country to face big problems with the world community.
Look at the destiny of Saddam Houssein, Bachar Al Assad ... they tried to face the world, but they could not.
He have to learn from them.
