I hate the city!!
I really really hate this damn Beirut city, the weather is extremely hot, traffic jam everywhere, air pollution and there is not a goddamn single tree!!
Don't u love the smell of nature? fresh air? peace and quiet? Lay down under a tree and drink some beer In your opinion, what do u prefer the most? City or Village? and why? ... Share Wit' Us:D |
Lol I feel smth like this especially these days when the temperature is more then +30 in fact.
Everyone wants to go somewhere (to the work or to the Village or somewhere else, why the hell they can't sit at home!!!). so if you'll need to move from one part of city to another you can spend 1-2-3 hrs or more. The only alternative is metro, but it is full of ppl. There is a calculation that it is used by 8000000+ passengers dayly. And, certainly, it is very hot and air is very bad and ppl are everywhere and everyone wants to get to the place where he is going to as fast as possible, no matter that there are others around them. |
I actually grew up in the village and when i graduated from high-school i moved to the city to study in the university.
Whenever I leave to Beirut I MISS THE VILLAGE. I miss the trees the clean air, i miss the calm. I believe that the city is becoming more and more a hard place to live in: the traffic jam, the noise, the pollution.... Long live BOLOGNA |
Well, my father is building us a house in Batroun, in a very calm, non-polluted area.
People keep asking me, "lesh hal2ad mba33din 3an Beirut?" Well this thread gives another reason :Tawa: I hate Beirut too. I can't imagine myself living there. |

I can't live in Beirut neither especially in the over crowded areas.
Where i live isn't quite a very calm place but it's miles better than Beirut. I often go once or twice a week to Jbeil, Bekfaya and areas less polluted and where trees still exist. I went this morning to Bekfaya to take photos, check them out >> http://bit.ly/cq1XRS |
