question about RROD xbox 360
 

my friend got an xbox 360 elite he had it for 2 years and from 2 months he got the RROD, now he will be gettin the Slim and he doesnt use the elite one at all, he told me if i want he can sell it for me for 50$ maximum with the controller and everything, so the question is will RROD be fixed ?? or it will break again cuz an elite for 50$ seems tempting. and 10x

to get the codes this is what you do, lamma el ring ybayyen f2os el fa2seh el zghireh yelli btesta3mela to aquire the channel for the controllers kell fa2seh bta3tik ra2em( tedweyeh) :
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
All four lights flashing - 0
One light flashing - 1
Two Lights flashing - 2
Three lights flashing - 3

now: you know where is the problem, if it's the overheating of the GPU and CPU it can be fixed but it's a bit hard throw it and buy a new one, because the solution is not that durable because of the board it seems old, go for xboxes that have a psu of 150W, 175W maximum i assume you friend's one is 205W.
