Unlocking iphones with i os 4
 

Just a quick question guys. I'm planning to get a new iphone 3gs soon hopefully, and i've been reading about i OS 4.
Now my brother tells me it can't be unlocked in lebanon, and that i'd better not risk updating it and having it unlocked, because iphones with OS 4 can't be unlocked yet, although i've been reading up on Google about jailbreaking iphone with OS 4. And i'm at a loss now.

Can someone tell me what the real deal is? Thanks :D

i have a friend who has 3G and was trying to update it to OS4 i will see what has happened with him and reply back to you.

u can jailbreak it and thus it will will be arabic supported and taweb3o
for the GSM i am not fu,lly sure but it is built in and unlocked .....ya3ne when u buy it from outside just buy the international one it will work every where and support all type of GSMz......

just google the new OS and update it then jailbreak if u know how 2 do it ......if not i would xplain

I have a fixed budget. I will be getting it from the U.S. This is why i will be getting the iphone :p

OS 4 is not unlocked yet... they were only able to jailbreak it so far. But it looks the unlocking will be coming soon.
You might as well get the iPhone4 instead of the 3Gs and that way you can get it factory unlocked.
