Windows 7 user documents security

just 5 minutes ago , after months if thinking that my user folders are completely safe , i knew that in the other user i can access my folders .
In the other user , going to c:/users/my username , i can acess my folders from the other users by simply clicking CONTINUE!! after an error message that you dont have permission to access these folders , i mean wow , simply wow , win 7 security ROCKS!
how the hell can i protect my folders from the other users?

not just stupid , funny too , i managed to close my files for the other users , but they get this new error that says you dont have permission , you can have through this "security tab" and so they can gain access again!!!!!!

Put a password for your account then your folders will be encrypted and the other users won't be able to access them.

Every windows has this issue in case you didn't notice :001: but the password should solve it.

the reason for this happening is that the password is stored in the pc and u r accesing from a administrator account

if u do it with limit account and it will prompt u the admin password ....hala2 if u dont put de password ......access denied ;)

3eshtom wa3ash windows 8 :P

SysTaMatIcS 09-05-2010 02:16 AM

So i dont get it , how do fix this ?

7anzala 09-05-2010 11:52 AM

the problem is that u are accesing the other accounts files from an administrator account. to fix convert the account to limited one...when prompted to admin permission that because u know the password u can access but others who dont know the pass will not access

Selfsolved
