از نجم و أسطورة روما فرانشيسكو توتِّي بجائزة القدم الذهبية لنسخة العام الحالي 2010 لتنضم إلى العديد من الجوائز الفردية التي نالها قائد الذئاب و على رأسها الحذاء الذهبي كهداف لأوروبا موسم 2006-07، جائزة أفضل لاعب في إيطاليا عامي 2000 و 2003 و أفضل لاعب إيطالي في أعوام 2000، 2001، 2003، 2004 و 2007 بجوار اختياره ضمن قائمة أفضل 100 لاعب على قيد الحياة في تاريخ كرة القدم عن القرن الماضي و ضمن التشكيل المثالي لكأس العالم 2006 و يورو 2000


و قد تفوق توتِّي في التصويت الجماهيري للجائزة التي تُمنَح للاعبين ذوي سن الـ 29 عاما فما فوق على المرشحين التسع الآخرين و هم نجم لوس أنجيلوس غالاكسي ديفيد بيكهام، حامي عرين اليوفنتوس جيانلويجي بوفون، الفيل التشيلساوي ديدييه دروغبا، الأسد الإنتراوي صامويل إيتو، قلب ليفربول النابض ستيفن جيرارد، أسطورة مانشستر يونايتد ريان غيغز، قائد برشلونة كارليس بويول، روح البلانكو ريال مدريد و المُنتقل إلى شالكه هذا الموسم راؤول غونزاليز بلانكو و الهولندي للميلان كلارينس سيدورف.



صاحب الـ 34 عاما أعرب عن سعادته العارمة بالفوز بالجائزة - التي لا يمكن الفوز بها أكثر من مرة واحدة - و طبع قدمه على اللوح الذهبي في إمارة موناكو، حيث قال عبر موقعه الرسمي "الكرة الذهبية جائزة تشعرني بسعادة كبيرة لأن اختياري تم من مشجعين من جميع الأوطان. الفائزون السابقون بهذه الجائزة كانوا لاعبين استثنائيين و قد تم ترشيح أبطال كبار لها هذا العام. أود أن أشكر كل من منح صوته لي. كرة القدم رائعة بفضل قدرتها على أن تكون خلاقة دائمًا و لهذا السبب أحبها كثيرًا."



يُذكر أن الجائزة كانت قد بدأت في عام 2003، و منذ ذلك الحين فاز ستة من أفضل لاعبي كرة القدم بالجائزة السنوية قبل أن يتمكن توتِّي من الفوز بها في عامها السابع، و هم كل من أسطورة إيطاليا روبيرتو بادجيو عن عام 2003، أسطورة الكرة التشيكية، لاتسيو و اليوفنتوس بافيل نيدفيد عن عام 2004، أسطورة الكرة الأوكرانية، دينامو كييف و الميلان أندريه شيفشينكو عن عام 2005، أسطورة الكرة البرازيلية، الإنتر و ريال مدريد لويس نازاريو دا ليما "رونالدو" عن عام 2006، أسطورة اليوفنتوس و الكرة الإيطالية أليسَّاندرو دل بييرو عن عام 2007، نجم الكرة البرازيلية و ريال مدريد روبيرتو كارلوس دا سيلفا عن عام 2008 و نجم الكرة البرازيلية، برشلونة و الميلان رونالدو دي أسِّيس مورييرا "رونالدينيو" عن العام الماضي 2009.

well you cant deny it , hes one of the best players , and the man behind the 2006 world cup win for italy . wasnt for him they wouldnt have done it

Playing? what playing have to do with what I said?
A player is not only a player who "play well", the game is much more than passing the ball, dribbling, shooting, scoring and lifting trophies. There are ethics and behavior on an off-pitch, and Totti dont have any. He was banned from playing for a whole year, for spitting on a player from Switzerland in an International, he was famous "Mr. Spit"
He would've destroyed a 19 years old player career (check Roma vs Inter, Finale Coppa Italia).

true true [not to forget the charade he put on in 2006 against Australia that got them a penalty to ensure the win], but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a "football trophy" cz the dude's a master at it b kel sara7a, i'm not a huge fan bas I can't BUT acknowledge the fact that he's an amazing football player with a messed up ethic side, bs who cares, ktar li metlo w wasleen 3a matare7 a7san ba3ed!
