hp laptop charger problem
 
i have an hp dv5 i bought it from 2 years and in 2 years i changed 3 chargers . is that normal? any hp users here? chi bi aref :\ plus where can i get the original chargers . maybe im buyin fake ones :\

maybe the problem is the battery.. hp laptops always have battery problems...

Actually guys, I think that the problem is from the electricity in Lebanon. The fluctuation in voltage kills the charger and I would be surprised if the battery is still functioning well. I sent my family an HP, 1 year the charger died, then sent them a Toshiba same problem, then another HP but now they are in KSA, so no problems so far. H@SSāN is right though, HP batteries are crappy, and they always ask for recalling. I would buy a regulator just for the laptop.

I have an HP laptop for almost a year, and the charger was damaged within 6 months. I called the supplier PCDEAL NET asking for its price and the cost is 120$ lol. So i managed to get the same one from the black market half the price:p and it is still working great (for nowlool).

me and my cousin have hp laptops and we always have problems with the charger....i buy it for 40$ and i don't think it's original

I have toshiba laptop, the battery is screwed up right now, it's the windows 7 issue posted in another thread..kingroudy has it and several members too as I recall.

the original one lasted about 11 months
then i bought one for 60$ and it lasted for about 9 months
then i bought one for 40$ and it lasted 4 months

wtf -_-

and im not gonna pay 120$ for a charger !

no one will sadde2ne, we're not stupid enough to throw that kind of money over something that sooner or later will be damaged. but having second thoughts, we know that the main problem is due to electricity. so if u get a power saver to stabilize voltages and reduce currents in power supplies, like laptops, TVs, desktops, routers, consoles and etc... It might be very efficient.
