help needed plzzzzz [FOLDER ISSUE]
Hello All,
Please I would like to have some help form you people. I was having my USB as normal. http://img547.imageshack.us/img547/6436/usbx.jpg and I had inside the Kingstone a .xml icon + 24 photos So the thing is I deleted the .xml icon http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/2489/filetypexml.png by mistake with the 24 photos. ( I intended to delete the 24 photos but not the .XML icon ) So my USB looks like that http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/859/kingstone.jpg And when I want to enter a Folder named Bank Audi (for example) I get this error http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/5590/errorsf.jpg So my dear friends anybody has any solution to my faced problem. thanks in advance, Samer |
yup i can help you. follow these steps
First download and install this program from the following link http://rapidshare.com/files/40666581....6.830_Pro.rar Install it using thei nstruction in the readme ma lezem ykoun se3eb use it to recover the xml file from your usb it works perfectly it can recover deleted files even the permanently deleted files. try it w redd khabar |

.xml file is nothing improted, it's generated on the drive by windows media player..

what shall I do to copy and paste them on my pc and enter my folders normally man?
P.S: In my case I cannot enter my folders. I dont know WHY. Thanks for ur help |
Try to access these folders from the console and tell me what happens.

Well I have asked someone in the It department in AUB ( Also called CNS) and he told me that I cannot do anything toward this situation and my USB is corrupted. Is it possible????

Directories are files by themselves. They behave as pointers to file system tables that also contains pointers to files. I can't just rely on what you described. Maybe there is something else that caused corruption. At the worst cases, you can dump the entire flash memory into a file and then collect each file's bytes and reassemble everything. Of course this is a tedious and mechanical thing but that's a way you can get your data back. |
