Ladies n gentlemen, I don't think that us, the Lebanese people, abide with all traffic laws: traffic signs, seat belts, mechanic, speed limit, etc... .

So what are the ones that you break the most and which are the ones that you take high precautions ?

hey cmon!! you mean cz of the new radar system i cant exceed 100 kmph on the autostrade even if it was at night and its empty ? :@

Although I hate the fact that it's now officially illegal again to drive above 100km/h, I'm kinda happy because I am forced to drive slower now, thus feel more secured on the highway.

I've never felt less threatened by other drivers on my way to uni today.

the new radar system is good BUT i don't know min 7at l speed limits w 3a ayya asses...if anyone knows autostrade keserwen and look at the speed limits kello ghalat! there's a place that the speed limit is 30!!! ...plus in some places (where the road is wide) the speed limit is 60 while other places which contains many maferi2 w day2a l tari2 it's 70....w a7la chi the 80 speed limit on autostrade dbaye! it's impossible to drive 80 eza ma ken fi 3aj2a.....

anw about the subject i always wear the seat belt....and there's no traffic signs to follow so no one does (except the traffic lights in some places)....

I too felt drivers were slower today, it is nice :D I used to drive 100 w yelez2o fiyé men wara and they start flashing the light as if I was veryyyy slow, and I never mind people who drive fast on an empty road, but when they start passing other cars wizawerbo baynon, that is dangerous and scary

بدأت قوى الامن الداخلي، بتوجيهات من وزير الداخلية والبلديات زياد بارود، خطة ضبط مخالفات السرعة الزائدة عبر الرادارات المتحركة على كل الطرق اللبنانية من دون الحاجة الى اقامة حواجز. ومنذ الصباح، بدا واضحا التزام المواطنين الجدي بالسلامة المرورية والقيادة السليمة، علما انه قد سجل لغاية الساعة السابعة عشرة 3630 مخالفة سرعة زائدة في كل لبنان، علما ان عمل الرادارات مستمر ليلا.

يذكر ان الرادارات المتنقلة غير ثابتة في مكان واحد ومن دون حواجز وتلتقط المخالفات على مدى 24 ساعة ومن دون توقيف المخالف.

وذكرت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي بأن السرعة القصوى محددة في اللافتات الموضوعة على الطرق، وفي حال غيابها، تعتمد، على الاوتوسترادات السرعة القصوى 100 كلم/ساعة وفي داخل المدن 50 كلم/ساعة، وانه يمكن للمواطن الدخول الى موقعها الإلكتروني:

ابتداء من منتصف الأسبوع المقبل وادخال رقم مركبته في الخانة المخصصة للتأكد من ارتكاب أي مخالفة سرعة زائدة، وطلبت من المواطنين احترام قانون السير وعدم مخالفته والقيادة بتأن من اجل المحافظة على سلامتهم وسلامة الآخرين.
