Ministry of Justice
ما هو موقفكم من تولّي المرأة منصب وزير العدل؟ |
I'm offended by the idea that we have to be asked such a question. I don't care if women get all 128 deputee seats and the presidential seats, as long as they're qualified. hell even bala ma ykouno qualified :hawhaw: they can't make things worse than they are even if they tried
|
The reason why i asked this question ya Joe is because women in general are too emotional :patrioticmcjay:
|
you don't believe that yourself I hope, as if men are perfect ya3neh, all the drama going on all the time bel majlis... wel nkeyet
plus, the foreign minister of the US is always a woman, condoleeza rice, hilary clinton(who almost became president) the foreign minister of israel lifni(hate for her aside, she is a strong woman) who also almost became a prime minister. our society devalues women for no real reason  |

I think the ministry of justice should only be represented by MEN and only MEN. This job is not made for women because they are kindhearted and most of their decisions are based on emotion. This is not an insult for women, in fact it is a credit for them because men act like pigs and this position (ministry of justice) is about dealing with pigs (criminals, cooperating with the enemy, rapists, etc...) who are full of dirt, so yes you need a pig to deal with another pig; they think alike. You need someone to serve punishment no matter how much cruel it is.

well, it is a job, it's like asking"can a woman take a management position where she must fire people sometimes"
many men also would feel bad and perhaps even unable to pass harsh judgements, I know I cannot live with having for example a person who died on a death row sentence going by a law I passed. this is why I said the woman should be qualified, I don't like steryotyping in examples like these, I am sure you can find at least one heartless woman out there :p to answer the question explicitly, you give women the right to run as candidates for it, and then you judge fairly between men and women. what I would be against is that a potential woman candidate be shot down and not considered, based on that steryotyping, before she is given a chance to prove herself |
I'm not a political expert, but I think women take their jobs seriously more than men especially for this sensitive position in our jungle Lebanon. So why not? The minister of finance showed success, not necessarily with results but with continuity of work, which is what Lebanon needs, people who work for their country. Women can't be bribed as easily as men, but they can be fooled easily (sorry :p)

Why people always find excuses to keep women out of power and decision making?
