samsung galaxy tab
I am looking to buy an ipad or the samsung galaxy ... but I don't really know what is the best choice, I also have several questions
basically I want something I can carry to watch movies listen to songs use the internet read ebooks some decent games :p and I don't want laptops anymore. I don't want to buy an ipad(my bro got an iphone and the whole jailbreaking/sim breaking shit seemed like too much trouble, especially if you want to update the firmware.) I wonder if the samsung tab is different... can you get a 3G into the samsung galaxy tabs? or a cellphone sim card somehow? does it need jailbreaking and sim breaking and all that? does it have a wide range of applications and games? does anyone own one? :p thank you |
You should wait for an Android tab that will run Android 4.0 :luv:
Android tabs are better than the iPad when it comes to watching movies, they have a higher Aspect Ratio, which is awesome for widescreen movies. Look into Galaxy Tab 10.1. |
what about having 3G internet on it, is it possible in lebanon?

I got a samsung galaxy tab P1000, yes 3g and sim cards work on it ( i use it as my phone ) and i'm thinking of selling it and bring something smaller ...

well it's not practical as a phone, but I think it is practical as a portable computer... but I am willing to buy it its own independent phone sim just for internet...

well i guess if u want to use it as portable pc u should get a tab with usb input it will be better

whatever it is stay away from anything that apple makes , check the htc jetstream :D , or htc flyer. or maybe kindle fire? or like tawa said wait for the android 4.0 tabs, quadcores and many great new features and ui :D

I'm not a heavy mobile/laptops user honestly. I have this awesome PC with 3 terra byte storage and 1 GB VGA etc... that handles EVERYTHING easily with HD, I am just looking for something to pass the time when I am away in some mountain with relatives I hate etc... bas anyway new stuff make older stuff cheaper :p so I might wait anyway, in the meantime get my info straight about everything

Playbook
I would recommend the BlackBerry Playbook. Best UI, Best tablet for watching movies, and best speakers among all tables, has a great solid built and you can bridge it to any blackberry phone for e-mailing and browsing outside a WIFI coverage.
