the cellphone craze
 

it's getting ridiculous... 3 year old children now have cellphones but that's not the real problem. the problem is people use their cellphone all the time and they never let it go.

everyday while driving, almost half the people I see in their cars are talking on the phone while driving, and part of them are sending text messages or MSN chatting while driving.

people text on the phone while walking, sitting with their friends, studying, on the toilet seat :p it's getting really out of hand. social interactions are dead not to mention I feel insulted when I am talking to someone and they are more interested in their phones :huh:

am I the only one bothered about this walla fi ghayré? :p

It's annoying for sure. I'm always skeptical of new commodities anyway for many reasons that has to do with ethics and control of production in the world. However, concerning the cellphone specifically though it poses even more problems. Like driving as you say, I was driving today and some woman coming from a curve driving around 80km/h on a 3 meter wide road was ecstatically speaking on her phone and laughing like there is nothing going on around her ... like things will just fix themselves without her paying any attention.

I am thinking from now on to troll such people I will suddenly pretend I am holding my hand in the air as though I'm aiming a "gun" at them .... That will freak them out and bring them back to reality for sure ...and will be funny too. :p

I'm just assuming
I was in the gym the other day there was this girl that was trying to use a biceps machine, she was holding her cellphone with 3 fingers and trying to push with 2 fingers... when she realized it wouldn't work she left the machine and continued on the cellphone :p

enno if they can't use the cellphone while they are doing it, it is probably not worth doing

It’s a common problem nowadays…

People are losing their social lives à Technology and Social Isolation.
and they are unable to find a balance between the real world and technology... this is disgusting!

or go sell it to some desperate BB addict, you'll make some money ...

Some people who are broke and then starting getting some income will buy a BB the very first thing.

It really pisses me off when talking to someone about something important and that someone using the phone (BB especially), I switch to sarcasm mode to make him/her notice that this person is an ass.

Nowadays, everybody wanna stay at home or in a net cafe and spend alll day long on a pc, PS3, Xbox or Wii console playing games for countless hours and on regular basis. eno give urself a break, did u ever went for a walk with your friends? I mean, technology is very important and I myself spend lots of time on my computer but you have to manage your life and give urself a break away from technology and stuff: biking, hiking, camping, sports activities and stuff.
