Tips n tricks!
 

guys i decided to open this thread to let the members share what they have about what concerns USEFULL tips and tricks.Ma te3ej2ouwa ktir, 2 or three tips per post:D;):).
let me start,
google tipntrick:
1- to search for a definition (of anything:o) type this: define: term
enjoy this very usefull trick.
2- to search a site: type this (for example) : site:www.website.com keyword
windows tip:
3- to quickly show the desktop, hit: winkey (marsoum 3laya windows)+ D.
i know that i can click on the desktop icon on the quick launch, but i do not use quick launch.

i wonder wuts the difference between winkey + D and winkey + M ????

iza betla7iz when u press Winkey + M all the pages get minimized and u see them get down very fast but when u press Winkey + D directly they disappear it's not a big difference but the meaning of M in Winkey + M is minimize and the D in Winkey + D means show Desktop

start -> Run -> msconfig


go to start up, and desactivate anything you don't want your PC to load while booting... this would make your booting faster... ;)

okey okey here is a cool one;
open multiple home pages with firefox!!!! ya3ne for me, vcoderz forum and gmail, and here is how it goes:
open firefox>> tools>options>the first thing that appears is the homepage, set it to your favorite hompage, then place a vertical bar"|" then type the next website you want to login directly... you can do it as many times as you want... enjoy

ya my brother firefox and its nice, i think its compatble with new window explorer too,
