What to do with the old PC? + question
 

Hi Guys I am going to change to a newer PC (read question related to it ta7et).
So I will have my old PC balla chi ya3mlo, it's a 1.7 Ghz P IV with 256 ram and 128 VGA, 40 GB HDD, I will take out from it the DVD writer, the Floppy O_o, the TV tuner, the network card w the modem and move them to the new one, bass I will still have a running PC!!!

So kent 3am fakir.
1- Leave the network card 7ato 3al tetkhiteh and make it a file server bayneh w bein khayeh O_o.
2- Install Linux on it, bass the problem is I will have to put it "faleit" 3al ard (ya3neh chaklo mich 7alo) and not in the location of the PC in my desk and get a switch for the screen and the mouse and keyboard. so it will be easier to install linux with win on the new one.
3- That's where you come in, give me your ideas.

Hala2 about the new PC:

I am getting 3.4 Ghz Dual Core, MBRD Intel Original (forgot the name bass the guy told me it's the best one), a new case, 2 GB RAM, 512 VGA, 200GB HDD, tell me how much it should cost ta chouf eza l se3r mni7.

cpu (3.4 ghz):182$
motherboard:7asab, you can get one for 75 or 150 7asab shou baddak
vga: waddi7777 ba3den ma L essa bel memory, L essa bel vga bi 7ad zeta, anyway, you can get a 512 vga pci-x for 75 $
HDD: 80$ for a 200 gb

"E6300 review" w shouf its performance compared to the best pentium D, bi masse7 fi L ared, 5souseh bel gaming. w iza dellaytak mesh me2teni3, teb2a elle ana be2en3ak.
P.S: a 75 $ motherboard wont work with the core 2 duo cpu
