How To Create A Background For A Folder ( Great One !)

Well !! Kama Konto A3edokom Bil Tips Da2eman ... A3edokom Bil Tips Mojaddadan !!

Here Is The Way I Know To Make A Background For For Any Folder You Want :) It Is Not Complicated Bas Badda Natfet Tekeez ;)
  • Open The Folder That You Want To Make A BackGround For It !
  • Goto Start ~~> Settings ~~> Control Panel ~~> Folder Options ~~> Choose View , Mark " Show hidden files and folders " And UnMark " Hide protected operating system files (recommended) "
  • Check If A "Desktop.ini" File Appeared In That Folder ! If Not , Do The Followings : Right Click ( Inside The Folder ) ~~> Properties ~~> Choose Customise , Then Click On Change Icon , And Choose And Icon You Want ~~> Apply ~~> Ok , And Then "Desktop.ini" Will Reveal :D
  • Open The "Desktop.ini" And Copy The Following Code:
Code:

ExtShellFolderViews]
{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}
[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]
IconArea_Image=C:\The Source Of The Picture\The Picture.jpg

[.ShellClassInfo]
IconFile=%ProgramFiles%\Messenger\msmsgs.exe
IconIndex=0

  • Save The Desktop.ini , And Then Refresh The Folder And Then You Will Have A Background For Your Folder :D .
Note : Open The Folder Options Again And Mark " Hide protected operating system files (recommended) " After You Are Done !! Enjoy !!

Re: How To Create A Background For A Folder ( Great One !)

thats a gd one :D bas i remember once eno there was a way bel 3ade right click properties, bas maybe that was SP1 or chi... anyway kamen dont copy all of it, the
Code:

[.ShellClassInfo]
IconFile=%ProgramFiles%\Messenger\msmsgs.exe
IconIndex=0

part, just keep the one like it in the desktop.ini file.. ya3ne bi ikhtisar just ADD the first 4 lines to the beginning of the desktop.ini ... to remove the background and the icon change, just delete the desktop.ini file (im 100% sure about this 'delete' info, but use at your own risk, duno your windows chou ma32oul ykoun.. sekin fi :D :P)
