dvd recode help
 

i need a help in encoding dvds , some dvds cant be totally ripped from an original one , ye3ne i copied the main movie to my hd but the rest of the .vob files cant be ripped , nero recode cant read the video_ts folder and give an error msg "nero recode encounter an error and cannot continue" could anyne help ,how do i burn the mainmovie only without the menu and the tips ..?

Nero can't do that! DVD movies are protected and to copy them you need to remove the protection, to do that u need one of those apps:||| -DVD Decrypter (very good but the author stoped updating it coz the big protection companies payed him a lot of $$$$) it will work on most of the movie but fail on new ones (specially sony ones) ||| -DVDFab Decrypter (still aupdated and can rip anything ||| So you get one of those programs and you rip the DVD to your PC and the you download another free app called DVD Shrink which will enable you to delete menus - audios - videos ... or shrink the DVD to fit a 4,7 GB one.||| That's it hope this helped.||| PS: sorry for the formating there is something wrong wiz vcoderz or my browser.

yes iknow , but nero cant read the video_ts folder ripped on dvddcrypter when some files may be corrupted and cant be copied ,i've ripped the main movie to my hd but some files on the proteced dvd are damaged , i cant find a way to burn only the main movie on a 4.7 dvd , note that the main movie witkhout the special features and the menus are < than 4.5 wma fi 7age ino zagheron al nero

umh. I think that with DVD Shrink u can choose wich parts to decrypt directly from the main DVD, so the corrupted parts mich ra7 ywa2fook, bass u have to hope that the encryption on the main DVD is not very advanced and that DVD Shrink can decrypt it.
Note that if the main movie is corrupted ra7it 3lek I guess.

Ah and I just remembered I used to use a program called DVD santa that can only take the movie part of a DVD and re-burn it, try it too.
