Why Do We Only Reminisce The Death Of Only One Politician In Lebanon???

Hi Everyone,

I have a very simple and straightforward question... Why do we only reminisce the death of only one politician in Lebanon?

I assume you know what I am talking about.

Not that I am against it; on the contrary! Rafic Hariri was our PM at one point in time and had big influence in the reconstruction of Lebanon. However, why the mass publicity and the exploitation of his death for political objectives??

If we were to consider the above subject, I believe there are other politicians and clergymen whose deaths are as important to reminisce as the death of Rafic Hariri. People such as Bachir Gemeyel, Rene Mouawad, who were Presidents of our country and not just MPs; as well as the Mufti who was assasinated. All these people had a vision and mission for the country.

Its unfortunate how politicians are exploiting the death of Rafic Hariri for political statements and opinions - starting with his very own Son.

God rest his soul and the souls of all the other martyrs.

unfortunatley, that's true .
let's take the example of yesterday, the bombings of maten. the timing of the bombing was very bad : today, all the people will focus on the 14 feb demo, and they will easily forget what happened yesterday .
it's all about the media , and how much they give importance to each issue

are certainly more "tahreen" and more cleaner than rafic hariri...the way that abbas mosawi martyred he and his wife and children when he was in an old mercedes car.....hes doesnt has any moeney and he doesnt care about life, he cares about lebanon and about freedom he sacrificed himself for lebanon....

build up the DT,by debt, and the costal autostrade also by DEBT,not spending any penny from his own moeney , he just gave limited help on limited occasions ,and sob7an allah,most of these occasion were in electral days.....
