Federalism, we are hearing this word a lot these days.
It was obvious after what Jumblat and Geagea on the 14th of February who want the Federalism. The same guys who wanted to do it during the war.
Yesterday on Kalam El Nas they spent 30 mins talking about Federalism and that christians can't do امن ذاتي .
Are you with or against Federalism ?

Definition of Federalism :

Political federalism is a political philosophy in which a group or body of members are bound together (Latin: foedus, covenant) with a governing representative head. The term federalism is also used to describe a system of government in which sovereignty is constitutionally divided between a central governing authority and constituent political units (like states or provinces), Federalism is the system in which the power to govern is shared between the national & state governments, creating what is often called a federation. Proponents are often called federalists.
In Canada, federalism means opposition to sovereigntist movements (usually that of Quebec). In Europe, "federalist" is often used to describe those who favor a stronger federal government (or European Union government) and weaker provincial governments. The same is historically true in the United States, with those who generally favor a confederation, or weaker federal government and stronger state governments, being called "anti-federalists".

it's an insult to all lebanese martyrs who died for something called lebanon.
I am with 'la marakziye idarieh' but not federalism as spliting lebanon into religious parts it's so sick and sectarian.
Lebanon is lebanon 1 piece 10452km2.

Federalism isn't good for any1, specially the christians.
We are everywhere in Lebanon. There are christians in Beirut, Metn, Saida, Tyr, Akkar, Tripoli, Baalbeck, Zahle, Jezzine.....
How can a christian ask for Federalism. How will they divide it?
And what about the economical relations with others? We need them and they need us.
I have a point of vue I would like to share, I feel the ones who want Federalism are afraid from the others, or they just want to be leaders of their religion in all ways, even if it pushes them to kill persons who will stand against them.
Let's talk things as they are, Samir Geagea will do anything to make the Federalism. He thinks that he can be the leader of christians, using weapons and letting them steal cars, houses, do all things who insult humanity.
Same thing for Jumblat, he has the majority of Drouz, and he has weapons, he thinks he can be a leader for Drouz and fight the other Drouz if they stand against him.
The Lebanese martyrs, Christians, Muslims and Drouz who were fighting against others, against Israelis and Palestinians, and Syrians never wanted the Federalism.

Let's hope no to reach that point, coz this will destroy Lebanon till it reachs a point where no one can rebuild it.

اذا كانت الفيدرالية تعني التقسيم واقامة الدويلات الطائفية فهي لا تصلح لنا في لبنان، فبلادنا صغيرة الحجم وطوائفنا موزعة على جميع المناطق
أما اذا كانت تعني دولة موحدة وجيش واحد ونوع من اللامركزية في المحافظات فيمكن البحث فيها

القوات اللبنانية وتبني مشروع الفيدرالية

تزال القوات اللبنانية تتبنى مشروع قيام الفيدرالية في لبنان وفقا لموقعها الرسمي على الانترنت حيث ورد في بيان حزب القوات ان النظام المناسب هو الفيدرالي، يطرح هذا التبني سلسلة تساؤلات خصوصا انه يقف بوجه كل طروحات وحدة الاراضي اللبنانية

فعلى الصفحة الرسمية للقوات اللبنانية على الانترنت وبتاريخ الخامس والعشرين من نيسان الفين وسبعة، يظهر بوضوح بيان حزب القوات اللبنانية، أي المشروع السياسي، نظرة الى البند الثالث منه الذي يتضمن المبادئ الاساسية تقود الى النقطة الثامنة فيه وهي التي تصرح علنا ان لبنان دولة ديموقراطية سيدة حرة مستقلة تنظم على اساس الفيدرالية.

ماذا يعني هذا التبني في هذه الفترة بعد حرب اهلية طويلة من بين اهم شعاراتها الحفاظ على وحدة البلاد.

تتخوف اوساط سياسية من كون دعوة القوات اللبنانية وتبنيها لمشروع الفيدرالية استمرار للمشروع الذي صيغ في فترة التسعينات ويتضمن الحدود الجغرافية والسكانية للمناطق بحسب القوات وهو مشروع شارل مالك منظر الفيدرالية.

ويقول في هذا الاطار النائب عن كتلة التغيير والاصلاح سليم عون في مقابلة مع قناة المنار: "الفيدرالية المقصود منها التقسيم، ونحن نعتبر هذا الامر غير قابل للحياة وهذا قتل للبنان وروح لبنان بالطبع هذا الامر مرفوض بالنسبة لنا".

يذكر ان القوات اللبنانية خلال الحرب الاهلية كان شعارها الاساسي دولة من كفرشيما الى المدفون ونحت بخطوات عديدة باتجاه تحقيق الفيدرالية وبينها الاستيلاء على المرافئ واقامة المجلس الحربي والصندوق الوطني واغلاق العديد من المناطق المسيحية بوجه اللبنانيين.
