go to the programs gallery and download an antivirus (bitdefender, or kaspersky recommended) and then scan you pc, i'm more than 100% sure that there is a malware causing this.

I already have kaspersky, and i scanned my computer and im still facing the problem

pekhhh... of course it wont work !! coz this is not a virus.... this is what microsoft calls the WGA : windows Genuine Advantage .. that means ur licence of windwos XP is pirated and the licence key you are using is stolen or used more than 100 times... what u have to do is search in the internet for the WGA remover and how to remove it from the registry and all the files that it added , but u have to solve it by getting a geniune licence key nad thus bying the original windows xp....
it doesnt pse a big threat but with time it is intended to make your computer work in a minimal power and settings so ur administrator account will be limited like the guest or even more and disable some of the features of it .

Thanks ULIAS, I actually searched for it on google from about 4 days and knew about that ...

But the question is why did the problem never appear until few days before now ?

i think that it happened because windows updates were turned on, and your key was checked by the microsoft site and then blacklisted.
anyway sorry for saying that this is a virus.:p because dounaz seemed in a panic moment:p
and what tricked me is that no one has an original windows:S and it never happened with someone i know.

yeh , my windows updates were on , but everytime i download them i choose cutom, so i can see whats the tool am downloadin...so last time it was the windows guninuine tool (hek shi) so iddnt download it...
anyway if am allowed to do this , ill give u the link that will remove this error....waiting for permission

Ok I removed it ..( if any one wants the file, pm me ..its only 12 kb)


but I guess that now that microsoft has taken these steps , we cant update the pc the normal way ( which is using the yellow button ) ???

The only way is finding some sites that do the updates or anything ?:Dmahek ? ?
