MSN vs download speed
these are independent things when working on my computer where i have a dial up connection.
but not at the internet cafe i visit where 8 computers are on a network and the main one (that should be always on ) is connected wirelessly to an internet provider (256kbps=32Kbites/s). i was downloading a 10 mb the download speed was about 9k,when i signed out of msn the speed jumped to its maximum of 32k! and this is what i tested and verified several times. any comment? |
Re: MSN vs download speed
no idea
but the download speed can depend on the website u are downloading from some jump to 4Mb/s and others 2Kb/s |
Re: MSN vs download speed
true major,
uploading websites are so slow when u download anything from it... other websites especially personal ones offers a very high speed of download... |
Re: MSN vs download speed
i disagree with you guys, i was downloading from one website and what i said in this thread was obvious.
just try it at your home and tell me. |
Re: MSN vs download speed
ok man i was trying
i was signed in this morning, and i tried to download a song , my download speede was like usual (80 kbps), i stopped it, and i signed out, and i re-downloaded the same song, and it was the same. look, maybe ur ISP is using that setting, u shoud ask him |
Re: MSN vs download speed
Some lebanese Isps implements session limits, so it depends how much sessions are open so MSN takes 2 sessions i think so the usage of msn decrease ur bandwidth.
