guyz just want to know if u concider yourself arabic or not ..
first plz give me ur definition of the word arab and then clarify ur point .. |

i think we are originally phecians but with the arab help for lebanon for many years we must concider ourselves arabs :)

from the begining we are phenecians but when lebanon had his independance in the dostour they said "lobnan balad zou wajh arabi" so we r arabs and we have meetings with all the arabs presidents and every thing is cool i don t think that someone have a probleme abt it

Maronites,Orthodox,Room catholics and non Armenian-protestants are Arabs,hence they speak Arabic ,they live in the Arab world ,their traditions are close to the Arab traditions.The only difference is that they are Christians.Not only in Lebanon there are christians,but in Egypt also there are 7 million christian Arabs and in other Arab countries too.And just like GMA said Lebanese christians are Eastern Oriental chrisitians who are from Antioche.Lebanon loses its meaning without the christians because the latters have lived in this country for thousands of years, and neither Saad el Hariri nor Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah has the right to manipulate the christians.

Lebanon is a mixture of different communities and races ( arabs-phoenisians-turkish-europeans-persians etc.. ) so no we are not arabs nor phoenicians nor any precise race , we are a mixture of all these races .
so we are just LEBANESE . |

العرب هم من تكلّموا لغة الضاد وهم من الشعوب السامية التي سكنت شبه الجزيرة العربية و المناطق المحيطة بها من بلاد الشام و بلاد ما بين النهرين اللبنانيون من حيث المبدأ هم عرب فينيقيون... رغم أن الكثير منهم يقولون انهم ليسوا عربا... بل فينيقون ... الا ان معظمهم لا يعلم ان الفينيقيين شعب سامي ... عربي ويجتمع معظم علماء اللغات على أن أختراع الأبجدية الأم جاء عن طريق الفينيقيين، التي ولدت منها جميع أبجديات العالم مثل اليونانية و اللاتينية و العربية و العبرية فهل ذلك يجعل لبنان بلد لاتيني أو عبري؟ المشكلة في نظري باللبناني انه وبرغم لطافته وحسن تعامله فانه في أعماقه متكبر جدا ويعتبر نفسه غير عربي ...
