Hi guys i cant get my pc to shut down:S.
when i click on start ,turn off computer,shut down, nothing happens:S
And i tried to shutdown it by the virus that give the pc 30 second's(shutdown -s) to shutdown and when the 30 sec finished the computer didnt shutdown:S what is wrong with it.Every time i am forced to shut it down directly from the UPS :S:@

no man,it maybe a prob but dont shut it down directly from the ups:S:S,if ur using windows xp or vista khallik kebis 3ala kabsit el turn on 3al case khallik kebis 3laya la 7edit wa2ta yontofe el pc

try shutdown -s -f -t 00 and tell us if this works for you.

It worked but what is wrong with the PC? And that meen enno every time i need to shudown the pc i need to use this method.It's not practical and not Logic

it means there is a program preventing ur pc from shutting down, update your av and scan or here is a method where u can double click to shutdown:
right click on the desktop > new > shortcut > and now type shutdown -s -f -t 00 and u r done.

try this:
shut down the computer using start/shutdown and then open the task manager, go to processes, and end what u think is an application running, usualy the one with the highest memory usage
if u dnt know what the process do google it

the process that u end and let your computer shut down is the one that is hanging .

hit ur windows key on ur keyboard and then press U twice . it will shut down .
