no, it's not like that,

when a mod/admin deletes/edits a post, the member will receive an auto-pm , with the reason of editing/deleting that post

Some Reasons of WHY EDITING/DELETING ur posts/threads:

1- Bashing others
2- opening copied/pasted articles all the time without posting its source (political forum)
3- OUT OF TOPIC POSTS
4- Criticizing a Mod/Admin for closing a thread by opening another thread to respond instead of using the Private Messages
5- NONSENCE POSTING
6- Illegal Materials & Links
7- Invalid Links or damaged Files
8- Trying to do the Moderator & Administrator job instead of letting them take charges...
