Arabic in Latin
Do you think writing Arabic in Latin font should be banned like this?!
Personally, i don't think it is a good idea to ban it like this because there's no harm in it. Furthermore Said Akel was working on something similar to make the Lebanese or Arabic language universal by using the Latin fonts... What Do you think? |

the one and only arabic in latin problem is:
it's really hard to read when it's a big paragraph... it's funny and cool on MSN because MSNers use short messages while talking to each others, but in here, some write huge paragraphs with arabic in latin what makes the paragraph so hard to read... Side note:this is not the only posting problem, there's another problem which is: writing in abbreviations, it kills the reader... you have to decode and sometimes you don't understand the abbrevations! |

Its not da fact if we like it or not.....its da fact that there are so many visitors or even members who are not lebanese! so they cant read or understand us!
dats all guys... so if we like it or no... this is one of the rules and we must respect it :) |

well when i read an arabic latin paraghraph , it take me double of the time or even triple of the time , than reading it in arabic or english , and sometimes i stop at some word that i dont understand! thats y it should be banned, but its ok to pass a sentence or a word...

it should be banned.
w a side note for u systa, u always write some words incorrectly, maybe abbreviation or maybe no, but that also takes us decoding you posts (and posts of other members too) |

There's a lot, I mean A LOT of grammatical mistakes in some members' posts, we all know who :D Anyways, I noticed that there's some posts mixing: English abbreviations + Arabic using Latin font + Some new language form.

A very simple example why should arabic using latin fonts must be disabled:
"el enssen byet3allam men kisso w men kiss ghayro" fhamouwa ba2a :o:crazy:... u can understand it using ur own way.. but here it means "BAG" |

vcoderz receives many visitors from search engines links , people won't search for anything written in arabic using latin fonts
so that's another reason to not allow members to write posts using arabic in latin fonts. concerning the abbreviations ,u know very well that's it's a forum, not a chat room, so the moderators are give full access to delete this kind of posts |
