JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The Israeli military had no immediate comment on Thursday on a Syrian news report that Israeli aircraft bombed targets in Syria.
"We have no knowledge of anything like this. We will get back to you," a military spokeswoman said by telephone from Tel Aviv.

صرح ناطق عسكرى بما يلى :

بعد منتصف ليل 6/9/2007 قام الطيران المعادى الاسرائيلى بالتسلل الى اجواء القطر العربى السورى عبر الحدود الشمالية قادما من جهة البحر المتوسط باتجاه المنطقة الشمالية الشرقية خارقا جدار الصوت وقد تم التصدى له من قبل وسائط الدفاع الجوى التى اجبرته على المغادرة بعد ان القى بعض ذخائره دون ان يتمكن من الحاق اى اضرار بشرية او مادية. ان الجمهورية العربية السورية تحذر حكومة العدو الاسرائيلى من هذا العمل العدوانى السافر وتحتفظ لنفسها بحق الرد الذى تراه مناسبا .

What is been done is very wrong du to the crisis that already the Middle East is going through. Enough tension is being caused without having other pbs to be added.

This step has two logical explanations:

1- This is a pre-war msg to Syria to increase the pressure on it to neil before the US demands.

2- This is a plan from the US-Israeili axe to draw the attention away from their failures they've committed so far, and a cover to other plans.

Syria says its air defences have opened fire on Israeli war planes which had entered Syrian airspace.
The action took place "without causing human or material loss", according to the official Syrian news agency, SANA.

In a statement, Syria's Ministry of Defence said the incident happened close to Daaraa, in the south of the country.

Syria and Israel remain technically at war following the seizure by Israel of the Golan Heights in 1967.

The Israeli military says it is looking into the report of the incident.

Tensions between Israeli and Syria have been rising in recent months. Both countries' leaders have said their countries do not want a war, while accusing the other side of arming for a conflict.

Contradictory statements from the Israeili part, i think they are lying then ( even if both of them are liars and bunch of killers)
