dirext x 9.0 problem
 

my frnd installed call of duty 2 , when launching it gives a dirext x error , it suggest to run dxdiag nd check the display tab , i did that , and it gave me that the agp texture acceleration is disabled , nd i cant click on the button enable ( un clickble ) , we installed dirext x 9.0 again and again from many cds , still its the same , wats the prob?!
in the pic , this is not his dxdiag this is mine , anyways his one shows the 3rd " agp tex... " as disabled...

does your friend have an AGP card ?
this is the first question to be asked.

la7azet eno the video drivers of Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 are Microsoft's drivers. Your friend should upgrade the video drivers from Nvidia's website.
(for me, this fixed most of the problems with graphic games)

Edit: ah, sorry, the screenshot is yours... never mind. but still, upgrade the video drivers :>

I agree. If it's not AGP then this setting won't be available for changing. :P

yeah, the driver will solve it i think. get it from Welcome to NVIDIA - Graphics Cards, Motherboards, Notebooks, Desktop PCs (if it is a geforce).

but the screenshot is for the person who posted the thread.. to you systamatics, update the drivers... and to you friend, ask him if his video card is AGP :>

OK!! then let him get the nvidia driver, the driver is not mendatory for many games, but some games require the driver!!!
