The pc won't write anything on the screen unless it is the case when you hear 2 SHORT BEEP...
You didn't see an error on the screen because either your PC has no error or the error is not the error of the second case (2 SHORT BEEP).
Maybe you didn't understand for what are those codes, these are useful when you have a problem and the PC don't write anything on the screen about it, so you try to hear carefully what your PC is saying  in order to know what is the problem.
