Hezbollah opposed all the governments since 1990 till 2005.
Hezbollah were Syria's ally benefiting from their relations with the Syrian regime for the best of Lebanon and the resistance, not for making own fortunes, running ministries and being Syrian puppets.
when they thanked Syria, they had their reasons, and the reasons are what i just stated.
I agree with what you said...but don't forget that Syria opposed Hezbollah at the very beginning and sought out to destroy it.
They weren't always allies.
