can u try to convince me that pop/rap are better from Rock/Metal... i'll tell you what I know about Rock/Metal:

Great music, composers work hard to give oud melodies, bands play c.a.d from 3 to 5 or 6 members do one single job, 5 instruments totally Synchronized, members play live the music they composed with no play backs, with no mistakes...
P.S: members write amazing lyrics, full of great meaning from love to war to peace to discrimination to critics... etc

So for now, Popers and Rapers, enlighten me a little bit, what do u like in POP/RAP?
