Of course you can't compare, in the case of Gemayel and the others we had an existing Israeli and Syrian occupation, which doesn't apply on the deal with Iraq, even France supported the Army back then indirectly through Iraq.

I may support any contribution to strength the Lebanese Army either it came from the U.S, Syrian, KSA... same thing goes to the resistance which i believe also that Iran is an awful regime but can't deny its contribution in a way or another nor the negative effects.

I think the best thing to do back then was this rather than going to Taef and give away the country for 14 years of occupation.
GMA back then asked for the "comma" to be added to the agreement which defines the Syrian withdrawal which didn't happen with a clear question (recorded) "How can i make sure the Syrians will leave in 2 years?, how can i make sure our independence will be restored when the Syrians will have their hands on all our public institutions?" He was so right and they were so wrong.

Now the Syrians are out and he's asking for good relations with them and i believe the same thing will happen when Israel leaves our occupied land as well.

FPM is by far the only Lebanese party that had patriotic battles and demands since its existence and the gap between it and other parties is pretty big knowing that it's reducing with those sectarian and cake sharing slogans.

Things are more than clear, trying to cover a whole era of resistance to "save" the country sovereignty and independence to an emergency act of weapon supply?

I don't really get your point, how could you compare him to the others if he hadn't done any links to the OCCUPIERS under fire and massacres let alone the exile story.
