are u using download accelerator plus???
if yes then do the following:
tools>folder option> and go where u can make hidden files and folder appear,
under this u find an option "hide extension for known files...." (not sure about the name) > untick it and then do to your dap file and rename it with the extension .mp3 and tell me if it works.
