True, but the countries with the best living conditions are a mix between capitalism and socialism. Business should have the opportunity to grow and expand but not without a government watching it.

In the same way, the government should be aloud to run everything without someone watching it.

Highly successful capitalism lead to a country similar to the US, where corporations and money are the important thing and people have to fight for the right not to get screwed every day.
Look at the health reform that got passed recently, corporations had so much control over the media and the government that a law that would guarantee the people to get what they paid for was being dismissed by both the people themselves and their government.

I'm speaking mainly about the US because it's pure capitalism. And the reason why life is so crappy there is that you are not an individual, you are just another worker, and in contrast to communism where the worker works for the good of the nation, in the US the worker works to stomp on heads and get to the top.
