Unfortunately because they are not sincere with their religion. In Prophet Mohammed's PBUH time, non believers set up an army with elephants to burn down the Ka'aba, so some believers ran to the Prophet and told him that, so he said: " Don't worry there is someone who is going to protect his own house." Now Muslim's violent response is only their initiative towards the case, and not the religion. Islam was never built based on Violence, one proof is what happened with Imam Ali and his household. 100 % WRONG, and they are just ruining the reputation. Thank you for not generalizing. As for my opinion, I am not against absolutely anyone. It is not my job to determine who is saved and who is not. I try to show how peaceful my religion is by being a good person. And that's what god wants from you. God says: "He whose saved is who come to me with a clean heart."
