You can have your opinion and so does everybody else. And I'm sure that most people would like to live in a society where prostitution is illegal.

I'm against prostitution. But I don't have strong feelings against it because of the "filth". I have strong feelings against it because for every hooker that's having fun, there are tens of girls that are living hell. Whether it directly (Beaten, STD, forced, need money, etc.) or indirectly (Shame, depression, etc.).
This is also the case in countries where prostitution is legal. I wrote a essay on prostitution in Sweden. While there was little beatings or force involved, most research (that were neutral) that I found had interviews with girls (16-30 years most of them) who just couldn't get their life straight when they quit prostitution. They felt like outcasts, whatever job they got or relationship they got in, they ended up destroying it simply because they didn't see themselves equal to other people.
Nobody has to go through this kind of life.

And then you look at an interview with one hooker who likes her job and people go "Hey, this isn't bad".
