I think a person commits suicide when they are not thinking clearly

they are faced with a problem and they get all mad and choked up and depressed and they fly off the roof

I heard one guy committed suicide a few month ago after being diagnosed with cancer, and he killed himself because his own brother also has cancer and he saw how much his family suffered for taking care of him, and he did not want to be a burden, I respect something like that

it was unselfish in a way

but usually suicide is selfish, your life is not yours, your life is your parent's financial and emotional investment, you have friends depending on your friendship and who also invested their emotions in you, it is very selfish to deny these people the fruits of their efforts by killing yourself
