I seriously don't see any reason why someone would prefere Nokia over HTC 
About typing on a touch-screen, even if you're not using Swype or any special on screen keyboards, you'll get used to it, and you'll be doing less errors with time.
About N86's screen, there's a slight difference between AMOLED and Super AMOLED.
About you being scared at the "sensitive" screen, you can check the list of phones with Gorilla Glass Scratch Resistant, here's a short sample list.

Now, about you saying that we're still in the first generation of touch phones... Please read more before posting. Search for the difference between Resistive touch screens [98% of Nokia's touch phones] and Capacitive multi-touch screens.
