Let us talk about what has happened here and what's happening to Chelsea atm shall we?
Imo I think Chelsea are having more than a "down time" right now, everything wrong seems to have come at once for them, we know they have an aging squad [8 starting players are 30+] and to backup these aging players are less than eligible/classy/able/talented players, their bench isn't good, their squad's depth isn't nearly good enough to challenge in all contests! [bottom line is, players went this summer and incompetent players replaced them - as said by Sir Alex Ferguson when asked about Chelsea atm]
Injuries occurred to key players such as Lampard - Drogba - Essien - Terry - and Alex have been vital all coming in at once in such a crucial time of the season, and for such aging players, an injury is hard to recover from w even if they do, ra7 tdal teje more frequently cz they tire quickly w that only increases the chances of other injuries taking place as they progress along the season.
Ancelotti seems to have lost control over at Chelsea, that have been displayed when his assistant coach was fired [games played by Chelsea b4 the firing of Wilkins they got 25 points out of 30, without Wilkins, they won no games in 7] by the owner without him knowing or his approval even following a statement from him that he can't get good results if he wasn't given the kind of authority and freedom that Sir Alex has at United. Ancelotti seems lost and disappointed, with not much he can do cz he simply don't have the power to enforce any decision.
The players are tired and their mental strength is beginning to fade away, their hunger and passion is looking less and less lively, what we saw today was a more energetic and youthful Arsenal team with more hunger, look at their 2nd and 3rd goals, the 2nd is simply a display of hunger from Walcott to prove himself Essien slips up, Walcott sprints in and Fabregas [sorry Tarek bas mech hal2ad 3emel hal cheghel] simply was there; now the 3rd goal u can see Terry simply gave up, the young Terry would've chased Walcott instead of gambling and sliding to cut off the pass, he would've/should've chased Walcott, he didn't, he just lacked energy, pace, and desire to actually forbid the goal from taking place.
Chelsea should spend some money on young players, mech daroure established ones, bas atleast get good youngsters mech depend entirely on an aging squad cz we saw the consequences of that tonight.
United are looking good now w hope they carry on like that, their defense is looking more like the one elected as best in the world in the last years than the one they started on with this season, the young players are looking good [Anderson - Nani - Chicha - Smalling - Rafael] and up to the job eza mech aktar kamen, w confidence is blooming, so hope they carry on that way cz we'll surely win it this season with this kind of consistency and hunger.
