Hezbollah isn't really looking for what is good for Lebanon (In the same way you see it). Hezbollah has some principles, you might consider that those principles are good for Lebanon and you might consider they are bad for it.
Nassrallah knew that there was a risk in kidnapping the 2 Israelis in 2006, he knew that he was going to mess with the tourism season. His principle was (at least the advertised one) freeing the "Lebanese" (The guy that was part of a Palestinian gang and who attacked Israel in order to kidnap Israelis and exchange them for Palestinian prisoners) in Israel.
Any country that has a citizen illegally held outside has to do anything to get them back, that's Hezbollah's logic in this case. As you probably understood I do not agree with the logic in this case but that doesn't signify it is not true.
Israel does the same thing, I am pretty sure you saw somewhere on the net the ads offering you 10 million if you know anything about Arrad. So they are doing anything they can to get him back.
When Libya bombed a night club that was packed with American soldiers in Germany, The US bombed Libya, the bombing wasn't going to get the soldiers back and was surely not going to kill the people who planted the bomb. It was a matter of principle.
And now we get back to our main point, Hezbollah has a set of principles, you do not agree with them, the guy who wrote the article while trying to sound like he is a surprised supporter does not fool anyone and clearly does not agree with them and finally I do not agree with them.
So for the sake of Hezbollah's principles is the answer to your question, Hezbollah's vision is not limited to Lebanon, even the people telling you that know it. You have to agree or disagree with them but I repeat the point I mentioned before, Nassrallah is not stupid.
