1. Welcome back Scholes!! 97% of his attempted passes were successful, amazing boost to United's morale and amazing experience for the younger players that are now filling up most of United's squad to be learned from such a legend.

2. If it were to be in the League it would've been more significant to United, FA Cup isn't that important to me. BUT...it's a good boost in confidence for an injury-stricken Man Utd to be able to go to City and beat them on their home-soil, especially after the awful 6-1 defeat at home earlier in the season when Evans got sent off.

3. Kompany's red car could've been given yellow by a less strict referee, but this one is famous for being strict and to see a two-footed tackle like Kompany's on Nani (although he got the ball) he automatically considers it a red card, suddenly all the United haters forgot about Scholes' tackle in last year's FA Cup defeat to Man City, which was the same btw. Some refs would give it a yellow with a strong verbal warning and other give it straight red, this is one of the others.

4. United simply played better even though City had a strong push forward at the end of the match, but the fact was, United comprehensively won today so mabrouk to United fans, it's a "feel good" victory with a slight significance to the League title charge..
