i guess you should close internet explorer before u try to install it, and if u are installing it from microsoft it will close it for u, so try to close IE now and tell me what happens and im looking for other solutions..
one more thing, are you running style xp? if yes disable it or exit it and dont let it stay in the tray...still looking,,
