man try this way go to the control panel then click on "switch to classic view" than go to "administrative tools" then "services" choose the " DHCP Client" double click on it change "startup type" to "disable" then click on "apply" then click on "stop" i think this is going to work if u get connected from the network reverse the process and u will be on again this option helps u to make ur PC invisible on the network and undetectable by other users,
man there is an option that u should disable it too right click on "my computer" -> "remote" uncheck the two options that u have. so good luck.
