Well currently there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease ... only 2 medications are approved by FDA for Treatment of A.D Cholinesterase inhibitors and Memantine (Namenda) which was introduced to the market at 2003 ....

and since 2005 every now and then comes an article regarding new modalities for treatment and management of Alzheimer's disease ... the closest one to John A's article was at 2006 were a transdermal patch was used, but this is in the trial phase and needs time for approvement ...

anyway i hope this is true coz more than 14% of people above 65 years of age will have this disease, and this percentage increases to 40% above 80 years of age ...

and one of the famous people who have Alzheimer is Ronald Reagan, 40th President of USA
